Each meeting lasts less than an hour.

Orientation to the Leadership program, clarification of program expectations, project guidelines, and overview of Leadership principles.

October 8, 9, and 10, 2009

Return to Pasadena Saturday, 5:45 p.m.

Team-Building Retreat
Team-building, experiential exercises. Identification of participants' work-style and preliminary discussion on class project.

Exploration of Pasadena's history, civic identity, and the arts and their impacts on the present and future.

Historical perspective, challenges to our educational system, city- and community-based partnerships, and shaping and implementing a preferred future.

Personal Leadership
Creating a plan for personal leadership. Coordinating personal, organizational, and community visions.

Learn about structure and function of government within Pasadena, meeting key government decision-makers and public-private partnerships.

Understanding components and measuring quality of life including health, safety, and faith communities.
